Rough Justice The Surveyor West Molsey

Friday nights gig was with the masters stroke titans of the local rock scene, Rough Justice at a new venue for the boys, The Surveyor in West Molsey.

After my busy week at my place of work, I was tired beyond all compare, and went home for a 'power nap' before the festivities began! I could not be rocking at 100% in a tired state! So thanks to 40 winks and a shower, I was literally 'as fresh as a daisy' as I made my way to West Molsey. I must publicly commend Dangerous Dave for his most fabulous set of directions, with both GPS and non GPS compatibility!

The Surveyor is the new home to the former Landlords of the Cardinal Wolsey, and they are bringing all the best circuit bands on board to create a new music venue for everyone to enjoy.

The evening started out quiet, and whilst it never reached critical mass in set 2, we 'got em' in the end. In fact, if anything the crowd were a little too rowdy! We once again played our famous mash-up of Free World in to 'Prayer and blagged Roadhouse Blues for the assembled. I tell you, it was a one wild night!

The evening ended with the traditional Freebird, complete this time with guitar swap! I am also pleased to inform eveyone 'Smoke' was in the right place, so the equlibrium was restored.

As the evening came to an end, we found out that Team Rough Justice will appear on ITV's Egg Heads in the final! Our specialist subject.... poetry!

Still tired!
