Rough Justice - The Rising Sun Slough

Friday nights gig was with the earth's most powerful rock band, Rough Justice at the Rising Sun in Slough. This evening marked night two for me at this esteemed venue, and I tell you I could not wait to drive back down the M4 and set about setting up!

The Rising Sun has has a long history with Rough Justice, and I remember going to see Rough Justice at this venue even before I joined the band! This must have been around 1995! I recall being very pleased that Russ Blaber had an effects processor with a preset called 'Horsebox'. Ah those sweet memories!

Anyhow, after a nice Friday nap I felt refreshed and ready for the night ahead. It must be said that I do enjoy playing with the RJ boys and tonight was no exception! The Stoner was in fine form, and Hog was telling all manner of stories about deification, testicles and the like! I elected to wear my new 'I'll be Barack' T-Shirt which I was and still am very pleased about. I am also pleased to report that I am still sporting the Stoner-style 'Dog Tag' look.

The night started much quieter than previous Rising Sun gigs, and we were told by the fans that it was due to Bookface. I am pleased to say that Kim has been elected official RJ Bookfacer, and will keep everyone up to date in the future on all RJ developments Book and Face.

By the end of the evening, it started to fill up a bit, and we ended the evening in our regulation 'Freebird' formation. I used Duoverb #3 as #2 is still in Hog's garage and may have a fault.

With attire discussed, I left the pub joyful and elated and went home and slept like a log.

Looking forward to my big Strings Direct Order!
